A number of Jimi Hendrix tunes arranged for big band by Mats Engstr´¿¢m, leader and percussionist of Uppsala Big Band. The album was recorded at Polar Studio in November 1996, mainly live in the studio. Some fixes and overdubs were recorded in a small studio in Uppsala during the spring of 1997. The album was mixed in the studio of Paradise Park in Copenhagen, Denmark, during the spring of 1998, and released in the early summer same year.
